When we moved onto our property, there was much potential. Still, we needed a cohesive design, plan, and support to implement our vision for the renovated 1800s farmhouse and barn housing an Airbnb unit, a yoga studio, and a massage space. Kate carefully listened to us, ensuring she understood how we wanted the rooms to FEEL to our guests and us.
Kate's sustainable horticulture and interior design background, education, and focus on sourcing locally helped us establish a more intentional yet natural feel supporting our vision of combining a healthy wildlife habitat with a peaceful, healing environment. The entrance to the property is a vibrant, welcoming guide to the Airbnb and yoga studio every season.
Kate has a great sense of humor and a supportive approach that compliments her depth and breadth of plant knowledge. There is no ego, unlike other designers I've worked with.
